Biography
I was born and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My graduate advisor was Dr. Joseph J. Pear, with whom I studied computer-aided instruction and basic learning processes in Siamese fighting fish. In the late s I began supporting Drs. C. T. Yu and Garry Martin at St. Amant, which is Manitoba's largest service provider for persons living with developmental disabilities and autism. Maida Hundeling was born in Bizerte, Tunisia. Her first singing lessons were with the baritone Werner Schürmann. In , she participated in a masterclass held by KS W. Berry, made possible by a stipend from the Richard-Wagner-Verband in Bayreuth. She completed her vocal studies with the KS Olivera Miljakovic in Vienna and the tenor Jan Vacik. She had the chance to work intensely with Richard Trimborn in Munich.
