BRIGADIER GENERAL SCOTT A. DOLD
Chief of Staff, Kansas Air National Guard
Brigadier General Scott A. Dold is Chief of Staff, Kansas Air National Guard, Topeka, Kansas. In this role, he is the principal advisor to The Adjutant General on all staff matters. He is the day-to-day executive officer responsible for the effective management of the Kansas Army and Air National Guard. In addition, General Dold is responsible for coordination of intra-staff issues with all divisions of The Adjutant General's Department: the Kansas Army and Air National Guard, the Great Plains Joint Regional Training Center, the Kansas State Division of Emergency Management, and the Kansas State Office of Homeland Security.
General Dold was commissioned in 1983 through the Marine Corps option of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corp program at the University of Kansas. Prior to receiving his commission, General Dold served as an enlisted member of the United States Marine Corps.
